A Long-Awaited Dream Come True

On March 2, 2025, I had the privilege of documenting one of the most beautiful beginnings—a newborn session celebrating Baby Frannie’s adoption. After years of longing and waiting, her parents’ dream of growing their family was finally fulfilled. Their story is a testament to patience, faith, and the immeasurable love that makes a family complete.


We photographed in the comfort of their home, where warmth and joy seemed to pour from every corner. Sweet Beezie, the family’s loyal pup, padded in and out of the frame, always keeping a watchful eye on her newest little family member. The morning light, soft and golden, wrapped around Frannie as she slept peacefully, a tiny miracle in her parents’ arms.


Adoption is one of the most profound reminders that families are built in many beautiful ways. Frannie’s arrival is a living example of God’s perfect timing and the beauty that comes from unwavering hope.


Every newborn session is important, but adoption days hold a unique magic. They carry years of prayers, paperwork, and patience that lead to a single, life-changing “yes.” I left this session humbled and inspired—reminded once again that the way a family comes together is far less important than the love that binds them.
