Then, once your little one is here, we’ll meet again to capture those first intimate days—tiny features, sleepy snuggles, and your family’s first moments together.
Both photography sessions are gently guided, stress-free, and focused on connection over perfection. I’ll walk with you every step of the way—from wardrobe styling to location selection—so you can feel at ease, supported, and fully present.

This collection is designed for mothers who want to remember the fullness of their baby’s first year—from the tenderness of those early newborn days to the joy and personality that unfolds by age one. It includes both a newborn photography session and a one-year milestone photography session, allowing us to tell your family’s story in two meaningful chapters.
We’ll begin by documenting those first intimate days at home: tiny features, quiet snuggles, and the deep love that settles in as you become a family.
Then, when your baby turns one, we’ll meet again to celebrate how much has changed—new expressions, emerging independence, and the connection you’ve built together over the year.
Both photography sessions are gently guided, unhurried, and centered on connection over perfection. I’ll walk with you through planning and preparation so you feel supported, confident, and fully present during each experience.

Every Signature Session with Annie Lievens Photography includes your full gallery of beautifully hand-edited digital images, with no hidden fees, unexpected upgrades, or additional image purchases required.
I believe your newborn, maternity, or family photography experience should feel just as beautiful as the photographs themselves. That begins with transparency. You'll know exactly what you're investing before we ever begin, and you won't have to choose between your favorite moments afterward.
As a mother myself, I understand how much of your heart goes into caring for everyone around you. My hope is that, for this little moment in time, you can simply be cared for, too.

I specialize in maternity, newborn, motherhood, milestone, and family photography based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Rather than offering several different session packages, I've intentionally created one Signature Session experience designed to give every family the same thoughtful attention, flexibility, and care.
Whether we're celebrating your pregnancy, welcoming a newborn, or documenting your growing family, each session includes personalized planning, wardrobe guidance, gentle posing and direction, and a full gallery of hand-edited digital photographs.
My approach to family photography is simple: beautiful, timeless portraits should never feel rushed or complicated.

When should I book my maternity or newborn photography session?
As soon as you're ready! My Winston-Salem photography calendar often fills several months in advance, so I encourage expecting mothers to inquire during their first or second trimester.
For maternity photography, we typically plan your session between 28 and 35 weeks of pregnancy, when your beautiful bump is showing and you're hopefully still feeling comfortable.
For newborn photography, we'll reserve your session using your estimated due date and finalize our plans once your baby arrives. This allows us to remain flexible while making sure your family has a place on my calendar.
For family and milestone photography sessions, booking two to three months in advance is ideal, especially during the busy spring and fall seasons.
And if you're a little last-minute, please don't hesitate to reach out! I always love finding room for another beautiful story when my calendar allows.
How do I book a newborn, maternity, or family photography session?
Booking your portrait session with Annie Lievens Photography is simple, personal, and thoughtfully organized from beginning to end.
Once you submit an inquiry through my website, I'll send you a detailed investment guide with session information, availability, and everything you need to reserve your date.
To make the investment more manageable, your invoice is divided into payments.
For individual Signature Sessions, a 50% retainer is due at booking, with the remaining balance due seven days before your session.
For Keepsake Collections, which document several meaningful milestones throughout your baby's first years, a 25% retainer reserves your collection, with the remaining investment divided into scheduled payments.
Once your booking is complete, we'll begin planning the lovely details together—from wardrobe and location to the little things that make your portraits feel like you.
Whether you're booking maternity portraits, an in-home newborn session, or family photography in Winston-Salem, my goal is to make the entire experience feel easy, personal, and beautifully cared for.
