On August 10, 2025, just two weeks after her arrival, Baby Rowan was nestled in the warmth of her Winston Salem home, surrounded by love from her parents and her proud big sister, Emerson.


Having photographed Kylie’s maternity session in the studio just a few months ago, it was incredibly special to step into their home and capture this next chapter. In-home newborn sessions have such a personal, tender feel—every corner holds meaning, and the family is exactly where they are most comfortable.


We began in Rowan’s thoughtfully prepared nursery, where soft light streamed in and Emerson leaned in to kiss her baby sister’s head. From there, we moved into the master bedroom for relaxed, cuddly portraits that showed the family’s natural connection.


Baby Rowan’s first portraits tell the story of a home filled with joy, tenderness, and the beginning of sisterhood. One day, she’ll see just how loved she was in these earliest days—and how her story began in the very rooms where she first belonged.
